Jessie Mae Phillips

The family of Jessie Phillips announces her peaceful passing on June 12, 2015. Jessie was born in Omar, West Virginia and lived in Corbin, Kentucky. She moved to Florida in 1987 to join her brother and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Walter Phillips and Wilhelmina Phillips. Jessie is survived by her brother, Gail W. Phillips and his wife Billie; nephews, David (Cindy) Phillips and John Phillips; nieces, Donna Stevens, Elizabeth Thompson and Jennifer Phillips; great nephews, Kyle Phillips and Colin Philips; great niece, Lauren Thompson. Her family will always remember her quick wit and strength of mind and heart. Jessie began her career at Publix in 1987. She was a loyal and dedicated employee who was loved by her customers and coworkers. Jessie retired in 2007. A celebration of Jessie's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time.
