T.K. Bryant

February 28, 1953 — June 29, 2015

T.K. Bryant, age 62 of Singer Island, Florida, born Denison, Texas, passed away June 29th, 2015. T.K. will be loving remembered by his wife, C.L.; son, Jason "Bud" Jacobs and his wife; five granddaughters; sister, Patricia; brothers, Tom and Steve; stepfather, Don Jacobs and their families; his "second" Mom, as he affectionately called her, mother-in-law, Theresa; his "bro" with the big heart brother-in-law, Ken; Patty, Andy, Kat and Cristina; his sister-in-law and family who say his heart was bigger than the state he was born in; cousins; John, Bob, Dillon, D'Ann and Chris and their families. He will be remembered by everyone he knew, with both his music and his love. No person walked away from T.K. without being touched in a positive way. His love of people and his desire to give poured through everything he did. He was both brilliant and creative; he was always searching for outlets in song and in his inventions. Whenever there was an opportunity to give, he answered that call from doing concerts to causes, or writing the "Freedom" song for our returning troops, to taking the time to truly listen to what you had to say "for now is the moment at hand" he would say, with polite gentleman ways. Even when he had to be "poked" by a nurse, he would say thank you with a smile as everyone at St. Mary's would attest to. His friends were loyal to him and would rise to any occasion he called upon them. The list is many he hopes you know who you are. But special consideration goes to AK and Lori Katz, Tim and Roxanne Boberg, James Wei, Dan Polley, Howard Cohen, Garett Gorden, Rob and Candy Caulk whose help and dedication to his vision have his gratitude. To the many band members, like Charlie and Ian, radio stations, recording studios, engineers, especially Ron Combs, who put Ride Cowboy Ride on youtube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vGTSGhpF2c) and who ebbed and flowed through the years, great times! To the residents of Washington state who adopted him as a second son, especially the city of Enumclaw where he performed and called home for a while and to Cal and George whose help was immeasurable. The "team" Patty B. Scotty, John H. and all those who were there including his limo driver Ron. What fun, 1st race 1st place. To all those on the Island, especially his neighbors both past and present, ~THANK YOU~. To Travis, Johnette and Lauren who are always quick to help. He also had a special bond with Dorothy B. whose voice and way reminded him of home. He always loved talking with her and she with him. To all of those he met and shared time with at Dr. A's all his love. We were two made one, we would often laugh that we forgot we were two separate people and on the first occasion we had to be apart he wrote, "Soon I'll be with the one I love so far away but we still see the same moon and I'll be seeing you soon." I never wanted anything more or less than his hand in mine or to nestle in the crook of his neck forever. He left me with so many songs in my heart, many that haven't made it yet to his C.D.'s, that at every turn I can hear them, be comforted, guided, loved and be at peace. "Our love is endless and we don't even have to try Our love is endless and it will never die Our love is endless and I will tell you why We'll be together alwaysForever You and I" I will miss my best friend, but be forever grateful for the journey we enjoyed and as he put it, "I promise every day will be a holiday and we will be on a permanent vacation", he didn't disappoint and I am glad I took the ride. One forever in our hearts. I love you T.
