Wayne P. Dixon

Wayne was born on October 5, 1957 in Oyster Bay, NY to Walter and Mabel Dixon. The family moved to Lake George, NY in 1963. After his graduation from high school, the family moved to South Florida. Wayne worked primarily as a painting contractor in the area. He and his father loved going to the race track together and often went to Saratoga, NY for the Travers Stakes. Wayne and his little sister, Kim were especially close. In 2000, Wayne met Freddy Sanchez and the two were married in 2013 and jointly owned and operated a floral business in Greenacres. Both Wayne and Freddy died during the same tragic event on November 19, 2015. Both of his parents and his older brother Thomas predeceased him. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Kim Dixon of Cleveland Heights, OH (Christine Guarnieri), sister-in-law, Lisa Dixon (Richard Schiller), niece, Kristen Dixon and great nephew Breyon of Lighthouse Point, Fl.

A Memorial Gathering will be held 4:00-6:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
