Barbara Cloughen-Hames

Barbara Cloughen-Hames age 78, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away February 5th, 2016. Barbara was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on December 3rd, 1937. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her husband, Thomas Earl Hames, daughters, Kendel Nodland (Scott), Kimberly Mansur (Neil), sisters Joan De George (Bill), Marie Melone (Joe), and grandchildren Matthew, Melissa and Michael Mansur.

Barbara graduated from Upper Darby High School and Ursinus College. She taught English and Latin at the high school level before retiring. She enjoyed reading, playing tennis, playing golf and was an expert at solving crossword puzzles. Barbara will be remembered for her keen sense of style and her love of cooking and entertaining.

Services for Barbara will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 26th, 2016, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1000 Lantana Road, Lantana Florida 33462, followed by inurnment at South Florida National Military Cemetery in Lake Worth Florida. Arrangements are being handled by Tillman Funeral Home in West Palm Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The American Cancer Society.
