Jesse Lamar Dickerson
Jesse Dickerson was born on February 13, 1933 and passed on March 25, 2016 at age 83. A Master Mason of Palmwood Lodge 303 and lifelong resident of West Palm Beach Florida, Jesse graduated Palm Beach High School in 1953, served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1953-1955, began a 35 year career with Bell South in 1955 and married Carolyn King on June 15, 1956.
Jesse and Carolyn spent close to 60 years together and had three wonderful sons.
Jesse was very handy and liked to work on projects in his workshop. He truly enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his retirement hunting on the airboat he built with his son and snook fishing with all his sons and grandchildren.
Jesse is predeceased by his father Jesse ‘Buster’ Dickerson, mother Effie Dickerson and sister Inez Moree. Jesse is survived by his wife Carolyn, sons Gary, Jerry (Marsha) and Terry (Tracey), grandsons Kerry and Justin Dickerson, granddaughter Kate-Lyn Dickerson and great-grandsons Justin and Croix.
A Memorial Service will be held 4 :00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. Memorial gifts may be sent to Hospice.
