Eugene May

Eugene May, age 94, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016, after months of significant decline. Mr. May was born in Aurora, IL, but lived over 56 years in West Palm Beach, FL. He is survived by his daughter, Jo May Lewis, son-in-law, Dane Edward Lewis, and two grandsons, Daniel Edward Lewis and Matthew Keil Lewis.

Eugene was a World War II veteran who honorably served his country as an Army medical technician during the Pacific campaign. He was a retired police officer with the City of West Palm Beach and also served for several years with the Royal Palm Beach Police Department.

Mr. May was a proud member of the Elks Lodge #1352 in West Palm Beach for over 30 years, as well as an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
