Amanda Colleen Lahey

Amanda Colleen (Giese) Lahey passed away on May 14, 2016 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida surrounded by her loved ones. She was born December 2, 1980 in West Palm Beach, Florida and was a lifetime resident of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida. Amanda attended Lake Worth High School graduating in 1999, graduated from Palm Beach Community College and attended Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Amanda is survived by her husband John and daughter Kadence. She is also survived by her parents, Leo and Colleen Giese, sister Corinne “Reenie” Giese-Smith (Allen) and special niece Emily Murphy and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Amanda had endured many health issues since her birth but throughout her life she was brave, courageous and determined. She always had a smile. She was a transplant recipient and at the end, she was a donor.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Stan Coleman will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. Amanda’s family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
