Randie Dalia passed away on May 26, 2016 from complications of grade 4 glioblastoma, a rapidly advancing brain cancer. She was 57.
Randie was the founder of RD Raw Foodie, a living foods company she created in 2014 out of a passion to promote plant-based dietary alternatives and a raw, vegan lifestyle. She began RD Raw Foodie out of her kitchen and, as a result of enthusiastic community response, distributed her products and lectured throughout South Florida. She forged a powerful legacy by inspiring people of all ages to make healthier food choices.
Prior to that, she had worked at Palm Beach Media Group for 18 years, holding various sales positions and rising to the post of publisher of Palm Beach Illustrated magazine. A respected business and community leader, she was active in community organizations such as Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, Quantum House, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, and the Palm Beach County Food Bank. She also was a member of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches and was passionate about mentoring women of all professions to succeed in the workplace. Randie began her career in sales at Investment Newsletter, where she eventually became Advertising Manager. She took subsequent sales positions at the Community Newspapers, South Florida magazine, and Guest Informant. She was the publisher of Insight magazine.
