Joan Patricia Kelly

JOAN PATRICIA KELLY, MSN, FNP-BC Joanie was 52 when she passed peacefully on November 23, 2016 in Trustbridge Hospice, West Palm Beach, Florida. She was predeceased by her beloved father, Jack Kelly. In her exceptional calling as a nurse, which began at age 15, Joanie often taught and mentored many a student in Palm Beach County, even inspiring 2 nieces and a nephew into careers in medicine. She was beloved in the nursing community for her tremendous skill, her boundless intelligence, and her extraordinary and irreverent humor. She was a friend to all, and the only reason people wouldn’t know Joanie is if they weren’t on Facebook. She leaves beautiful and happy memories in the hearts of her adoring family- loving mother Laura Kelly, devoted sisters Donna (Stan), Kathy (Mark), Jackie, Jennifer (Dino) and Kristin (Mike). She was an incomparable aunt to some amazing young people: Lauren, Kaitlin, Katie Lynn, Jessica, Evan, Markie, Carson and Sarah. Her greatest joy in life was her loving son, Michael Drew Kelly. Rest well, sweet Golden Child, and GO NOLES!!! In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Joanie’s two favorite charities: Mercy Corps, and World Vision. As per her wishes, the family will be having a proper, private Irish Wake in her memory.
