Mercedes Yvonne Cruz, 67, of Brookhaven, Pa passed away January 09, 2017.
Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, she was the daughter of the late Jose Antonio and Rosa Christina (Armijos) Campos.
She was a retired seamstress who worked for Botany 500 during the late 1980s. Sewing and stitching were always her favorite hobbies.
Mrs. Cruz was predeceased by her husband, Angel Manuel Cruz Amador, who died in 2011, her husband of 40 years.
Mrs. Cruz is survived by her 3 children Mercedes Cristina Cruz of Brookhaven, Manuel Antonio Cruz of Miami, Janet Cruz d'Munoz of Brookhaven, and her 5 grandchildren who called her PioPio.
A graveside service will take place at 1:45 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33467. Please assemble in Lane #1 by 1:35 PM if attending services at the cemetery.
