Leo James "Jim" Akers, age 71, of Thrall, Texas passed away May 12, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Amy Akers, and brother, Robert "Bob" Akers.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife, Carole Akers, son, Sean Cox (Andra), daughters, Kelli Cox (Karen), Heather Osborn, Jennifer Lemke (Mike), grandchildren, Madison, Alyson, Saxon, Amanda, Abigail, Isiah, Sam, brother, Richard Akers (Mary), sisters, Barbara Goggin, Bonnie Zins, numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Pinecrest Cemetery, Lake Worth, the Rev. Bruce Stutzman officiant.
Arrangements are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
