Jim Reisigl

Jim was born February 11, 1943 in Brooklyn NY to Robert Reisigl and Margaret McGrath Reisigl. He moved with his family to Mt. Marion NY, attended St. Mary of The Snow in Saugerties and graduated from Saugerties HS in 1961.
Jim joined the Navy right after HS in 1961 and was stationed at NAS Key West, FL in the helicopter squadron during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Jim started Design-X an advertising and marketing firm in Kingston, NY and Raleigh NC, eventually changing the name to Reisigl Associates. In the 1992 he moved to Jupiter, Florida and opened a new office where he continued to work on many creative projects and build brands.
Jim was a car enthusiast who loved to drive and work on his hot rods, corvettes and motorcycles. He was also an avid skier, and had his pilots license. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Dittmar Reisigl, son’s John and James both of West Palm Beach, Florida and a daughter, Danielle of Brooklyn, NY, two grandchildren, Brooke and Andrew from Saugerties, NY and a sister Nancy Reisigl Swart of Kingston. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. A brother, Robert Reisigl pre-deceased him in 2006.
Memorial masses will be held in both Florida and NY. Florida mass is scheduled at St. Jude Catholic Church on Tuesday June 27 at 10:30 AM in the chapel.
The second memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kingston NY on Monday, July 10 at 10:00AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Jim’s name to The Fisher House Foundation at www.fisherhouse.org
