Carmelinda C. Marchitto

Carmelinda "Connie" Marchitto, 92, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. A Catholic Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Ennis Street, Fuquay-Varina. Family will receive friends at the home of Diana Seiberling following the service. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL

She was born in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Vincent and Julia Coffone. She married Carmine "Red" Marchitto in 1945. They moved to West Palm Beach, FL where she lived for about 60 years. During that time, Connie worked for RCA until its closing. For the better part of the past 5 years, she has lived with her niece, Diana Seiberling, here in Fuquay Varina. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Bernadette in Fuquay Varina.

Connie is survived by a large number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
