Eileen Tancak

Eileen Ruth Tancak, 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Eileen was born in Parma, Ohio on July 4, 1932 to Joseph and Marie (Adams) Gierosky. She lived in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she worked as an accountant for the Police department. Eileen had been an Arlington resident since 1991 and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. Tancak. Survivors include her son, Dan Tancak and wife, Jannette; a daughter, Marie "Mickie" Metzger and longtime son-in-law, Bill Metzger; brother, Leonard Gierosky and wife Dorothy; sisters, LaVarne Eck and Alice Arida; grandchildren, Scott and Brett; great-grandchildren Korbin and Kloe; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services in Texas will be on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, Tx 76017. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 24, 2017, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Tx 76013.


The family will receive friends in Florida from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A Graveside Service will follow at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.
