Betty Pritchett Lee

Betty Pritchett Lee, age 95, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away December 7, 2017. Betty was born on September 22, 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by parents, Robert Pritchett and Johnnie Clyde Turner; brothers, Robert, Joel, Turner, and Murray; sons, Ronald R. Lee and Gary S. Lee. Betty will lovingly be remembered by her granddaughters, Teresa Lee of Boynton Beach, FL and Debbie Lee Giles (Shawn) of Elliston, VA; two great-grandchildren, Erica Lee Rijos (Ray) of Ft. Worth, TX and Shawn Lee Benjamin of Elliston, VA; three great great-granddaughters; Alyssa, Kamilah, and Gabriella; numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty Lee moved to Florida in 1958 and worked many years as head teller at 1st Bank and Trust of Boynton Beach. During this time, she also worked nights as a private duty nurse. In 1978 at the age of 56, Betty received her BS in Nursing. At 67 she opened “A Caring Nursing Service” home health care until she retired at 83 years young. Betty was a member of Palm Beach Baptist Church for over 20 years. She enjoyed golfing, her orchids, and spending time with family and friends.
